Sucralose is a chlorinated disaccharide compound structurally derived from sucrose. Due to the substitution of hydroxyl groups with chlorine atoms, it is chemically stable and exhibits high resistance to degradation under heat and a wide pH range. Outside of consumable applications, sucralose is used in industrial formulations as a non-nutritive marker, inert tracer, or in research and analytical systems.
