First Aid Measures
General Advice: Ensure personal safety. In case of health complaints or doubts, inform a doctor and provide them with this material safety data sheet. If unconscious, place the victim in a stable position on their side, with the head slightly tilted, and ensure airway patency. Never induce vomiting. If the victim vomits, ensure that they do not choke on the vomit. In life-threatening situations, perform resuscitation and seek medical assistance immediately.
Inhalation: Immediately stop exposure, move the affected person to fresh air. Ensure they remain in a comfortable position for breathing. Call a doctor if symptoms persist.
Skin Contact: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash the affected area thoroughly with lukewarm water for 10-30 minutes. Do not use soap or neutralization agents. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
Eye Contact: Immediately rinse eyes with water for 10-30 minutes, holding eyelids open. If contact lenses are present, remove them. Continue rinsing. Seek immediate medical care even for minor exposures.
Ingestion: Immediately rinse mouth with water. If the person is not in pain, give 2-5 dl of cool water. Do not induce vomiting. Do not administer activated charcoal. Call emergency services or a doctor immediately for further medical care.
Handling and Storage
Storage Conditions: Store in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated area. Protect from moisture and incompatible materials such as strong oxidizers.
Handling Precautions: Avoid inhaling vapors or mists. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including gloves, eye protection, and respiratory protection when necessary. Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames, and other ignition sources.
