D-Limonene is a naturally occurring cyclic monoterpene found in the rinds of citrus fruits. It is widely used as a solvent in industrial and laboratory applications, including the processing of high-impact polystyrene (HIPS), adhesives, resins, and as a degreasing agent. It is also valued for its pleasant citrus fragrance.
