Tetrasodium diphosphate is an inorganic sodium salt of diphosphoric acid, also known as tetrasodium pyrophosphate. The product most commonly occurs as a white powder, granules or crystals and is readily soluble in water, forming alkaline solutions. It is characterised by its ability to complex metal ions and stabilise the properties of aqueous solutions. It is used as a technical and laboratory reagent, a component of chemical mixtures, an auxiliary agent in technological processes and a raw material in formulations requiring the presence of a phosphate salt.

Source of phosphate ions: provides pyrophosphate ions in a readily soluble sodium salt form.
It is not intended for food, pharmaceutical or cosmetic applications unless the product has the appropriate quality and documentation required for such uses.
Handling and storage
Store in a tightly closed container in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place. Protect from moisture, direct sunlight and contamination of the product. Avoid dust formation during transferring and dosing. Close the container tightly after use to reduce caking and loss of product quality. Keep away from strong acids and chemically incompatible substances.
