Palladium on carbon is a heterogeneous catalyst consisting of finely dispersed palladium metal supported on activated carbon. The 10% formulation contains 10% by weight of palladium. It is widely used in catalytic hydrogenation and dehydrogenation reactions in both laboratory and industrial-scale processes.
