Appearance: Colorless to pale yellow liquid
Phenolphthalein 0.1% solution in ethanol is a widely used acid-base indicator that changes color from colorless (in acidic pH < 8.2) to pink (in basic pH > 10). It is prepared by dissolving phenolphthalein in ethanol to ensure good solubility and stability.
