Spray atomized aluminium is a finely divided metallic powder produced through a high-pressure atomization process. It is widely used in the chemical industry due to its high surface area, reactivity, and conductivity. It plays a crucial role in pyrotechnics, metallurgy, coatings, and as a reducing agent in chemical syntheses.
Applications
Chemical Industry: Used as a reducing agent in various inorganic synthesis reactions and in exothermic welding processes.
Metal Coatings: Applied in metal surface treatments, anticorrosive coatings, and conductive paints.
Additive Manufacturing and Powder Metallurgy: Essential material for sintering and 3D metal printing technologies.
Pyrotechnics and Propellants: Incorporated in industrial pyrotechnics and propellant mixtures for its high energy density.

Safety
Signal Word: Danger
Hazard Statements:
H228: Flammable solid.
H261: In contact with water releases flammable gases.
Precautionary Statements:
P102: Keep out of reach of children.
P210: Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking.
P231+P232: Handle under inert gas. Protect from moisture.
P302+P335+P334: IF ON SKIN: Brush off loose particles from skin. Immerse in cool water.
P370+P378: In case of fire: Use carbon dioxide (CO₂) to extinguish.
P501: Dispose of contents/container to an authorized waste disposal facility or return to supplier.
First Aid Measures
General Information: Ensure personal safety. If any symptoms appear or in case of doubt, seek medical advice and provide relevant safety data. In cases of unconsciousness, place the affected person in a stable lateral position with the head slightly tilted and maintain airway patency. Never induce vomiting. If spontaneous vomiting occurs, prevent aspiration of the material. In life-threatening situations, prioritize resuscitation and call for immediate medical support. In case of apnea, initiate artificial respiration. If cardiac arrest occurs, begin chest compressions immediately.
Inhalation: Discontinue exposure and move the affected person to fresh air. Protect the individual from hypothermia. Seek medical attention if irritation, breathing difficulty, or other symptoms persist.
Skin Contact: Remove contaminated clothing. Rinse exposed area thoroughly with lukewarm water. If skin is not damaged, mild soap or shampoo may be used. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
Eye Contact: Rinse eyes immediately with water, holding eyelids apart forcibly if necessary. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing for at least 10 minutes.
Ingestion: Rinse mouth with clean water. If symptoms occur, seek medical attention.
