Description:
Lithium chloride is an inorganic compound, consisting of lithium and chlorine. It appears as a white crystalline solid, highly soluble in water, and is commonly used in the production of lithium metal, in air conditioning systems, and as a desiccant in various industrial processes. Lithium chloride is also utilized in the preparation of lithium batteries and as a flux in the soldering of aluminum and other metals.
